Virginia Davidson

Mrs. Virginia Nell Davidson, age 77 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on July 18, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare Regional Jackson. Funeral services for Mrs. Davidson will be conducted on Thursday, July 21, at 2:00pm in the of Kenton Church of God with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton. She was born May 28, 1939 in Obion County; the daughter of Luther and Callie Ring Neil. She started in 1969 as a city recorder for the town of Kenton, then moving up to become Mayor of Kenton for many years. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Davidson; two children, Penny Petty (Billy), and Jimmy Davidson (Nena); one brother, Bobby Neil (Ruby); four grandchildren, Nikki Dunn (Brandon), Brooke Crowell (Jason), Gordon Davidson, and Hannah Davidson; and four great grandchildren, Calliane Dunn, Brylee Galloway, Chandler Galloway, and Hudson Dunn. The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00pm on Wednesday, July 20, at Kenton Church of God. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Virginia Davidson.
