A funeral service may include but is not limited to: the services of our staff in the removal of the remains from the place of death; the procurement and recording of all vital statistics, certificates, and permits; twenty-four hour attention to all details; answering and receiving your calls; personal supervision of all arrangements pertaining to the funeral service which may include: contacting ministers, musicians, vocalists, pallbearers, cemeterians, etc; the preparation and placement of obituary notices; arrangement and care of floral tributes; assistance with filing for insurance proceeds, social security and veterans benefits. We offer skillful embalming, restoration, cosmetizing, and dressing of the remains, in order to provide the most natural life-like appearance possible; the use of our facilities for visitation and funeral service. We provide a guest register book, food register book, memorial cards, acknowledgment cards, funeral programs, and other thoughtful mementos; hearse and flower van; we deliver plants to one family specified location after the services for the family's convenience. Upon request we offer a pictorial video tribute on DVD.
Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without an urn present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place or at your home.
This service may include but is not limited to; the removal of remains from place of death, the dressing and casketing of remains, transportation to a local cemetery and a graveside committal service.
Cremation with several options which may include; Traditional Funeral Services with cremation following; Direct Cremation with Memorial Service. Our facilities are available for visitation and/or memorial service. Arrangements may be made to meet the needs and wishes of each individual family.
At Karnes & Son Funeral Home, we also provide Shipping Services including removal of remains from the place of death, embalming, and transportation to the airport.
